How exactly does credit repair work?
Credit repair starts with reviewing your credit reports for inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. You can dispute errors with the credit reporting company and the business that supplied the information. Winning Credit Solutions helps review your file, organize a documented dispute strategy, and track responses. Accurate, current negative information cannot be removed simply because it lowers your score.
How long does the process take?
There is no guaranteed credit-repair completion date. The CFPB explains that businesses supplying disputed information generally must investigate and respond within 30 days. That investigation period is not a promise of deletion, a score increase, or loan approval. Follow-up disputes and changes to payment history or balances may take longer.
Can you guarantee a specific score increase?
No. Winning Credit Solutions does not guarantee a score increase, account deletion, or approval for credit. Results depend on the accuracy of the reporting, investigation outcomes, your payment history, balances, and the scoring model a lender uses. Be cautious of any provider promising to erase accurate, current negative information.
What items can be removed?
Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information may be corrected or removed through an investigation. Examples worth reviewing include accounts that are not yours, incorrect balances, duplicate reporting, and incorrect payment status. An account being negative is not, by itself, a valid basis for disputing it; accurate, current information can remain.
What is the difference between Personal and Business credit?
Personal credit describes an individual's borrowing history; business credit describes a company's payment and borrowing history. Establishing business credit does not automatically eliminate personal liability. Lenders may still check an owner's personal credit or require a personal guarantee, depending on the product and underwriting.
Do I have to pay for credit monitoring?
Yes. To successfully dispute and track changes, we require an active 3-bureau credit monitoring service (like IdentityIQ or SmartCredit) so our team can import your data and track deletions every month. This is a separate cost paid directly to the provider.
Can I repair my credit myself for free?
Yes. You can get free credit reports through AnnualCreditReport.com and dispute reporting errors directly with the credit bureaus and the businesses that supplied the information. Hiring Winning Credit Solutions is optional; paid services provide assistance and organization rather than rights or dispute powers you do not already have.
How do I choose a credit repair company?
Verify the business and professional credentials, compare the total cost including separate monitoring, and read the written service agreement and cancellation rights. Avoid promises to remove accurate information, instructions to submit false disputes, or offers of a new credit identity. The FTC says credit repair companies cannot charge before they help you.
How much does Winning Credit Solutions charge?
Current program prices and terms are listed on the Winning Credit Solutions pricing page. Costs vary by the service selected, and required credit monitoring is billed separately by its provider. Review the current written agreement and all fees before enrolling rather than relying on an old quote or third-party summary.
Does Winning Credit Solutions offer online credit repair nationwide?
Winning Credit Solutions offers personal credit repair and business credit-building services to clients across the United States. Start with a free strategy call to discuss your file, location, goals, and available program options.
Is credit repair the same as debt counseling or a loan?
No. Credit repair addresses credit reporting; it does not pay your debts or guarantee financing. If your main problem is affording bills, a reputable nonprofit credit counselor may be more appropriate. Loan approval is a separate lender decision.
